I hope everyone is having a great weekend!  Eric and I had a relaxing night last night.  Sushi, frozen yogurt, and a movie.  🙂

Although our actual anniversary was yesterday, we decided to save the celebration until today.  Eric originally planned for us to go rock climbing at the Rocktown Climbing Gym this afternoon, something we have been wanting to try for a while.  That was, until he found out the gym isn’t climate controlled.  I understand they are trying to mimic the outdoors, but it’s 105° outside!

Instead, we are going somewhere fancy for dinner (he hasn’t told me where yet, but I’m breaking out a new dress!).  Then, we’ll come back here to change, grab some bug spray, chairs, and champagne and head out to a nearby lake!  I’m really looking forward to popping that bottle open and just hanging out next to the water.  We’re not staying the night, but I love that we can just barely leave town yet feel far away.  I’m hoping for clear skies tonight for maximum star-gazing!

That’s it for now.  Short and sweet.  Sorry for the lack of photos – I’m still not used to remembering to bring my camera everywhere.  But I’ll be back tomorrow with a training update and (hopefully) a post on two projects around the apartment I’ve been putting off for way too long!

Okay, I didn’t want to leave you without a picture, so here you go!

When asked who she is rooting for in tomorrow's World Cup final, Ella yelled, "USA, USA, USA!"
